Well the Camping Trip Was Not as Bad as I Thought...

It was worse. Altough the tent went up fine , there were no missing parts, and dinner was way yummy, as well as smores, Ava mistook the tent for a jump-jump when it was time to go to bed.

This went on until two o'clock in the morning when we finally decided to take her for a ride to get her to go to sleep. It worked, but who woulda thought that the time to see woodland creatures is in the middle of the night. Among the animals we saw were deer, fox, sheep, and an owl. Also on our trip we saw a moose on our way up to the campground and lots of little chipmunks at the campsite. Ava finally went to sleep and we all laid down at about three o'clock but woke up at about seven thirty, not near enough sleep. In the mean time I have been feeling sick since last thursday, but for some reason decided to brave the camping trip anyways, thinking I would start to feel better any day now. I didn't though and we came home exhausted and sick saturday morning instead of sunday afternoon. Yesterday morning I was still sick, but I figured out why and I don't think it's going away anytime soon. Apparently I am pregnant. Yup thats right Mego is prego. My first doctors appointment is august ninth at which time I will have more info on this subject.

Preparing for a Camping Trip.....

Or not, is more like it. My husband and I decided it would be fun to go on camping trip this weekend. The fact that we haven't done this for three years now, and that we plan on leaving tomororrow has me a little concerned due to the fact that we have done absolutely nothing to prepare for this trip. Such badly planned trips are sure to end in disaster. Here are a few examples of what I am worried about...

I will update you on the outcome when we return.

Biker Mama

A few weeks ago my husband took me for a ride on the hog. It was nice to get out for a few hours just the two of us. We dropped little Lou off at her grandparents and headed up to Logan where we had lunch at the Blue Bird and rode over to a nice little park by a pond to relax a bit. I hope we get to go on many more rides in the near future.

Not to mention how hot we looked in ou helmets.

Ta-Da!!!

Guess what? Our kitchen floor is done! Well actually it was done about two weeks ago, but we have been busy getting all the trim put up and painted. So without further delay..... Ta-Da!!!

Do you love it? Cause I sure do! My fabulously talented dad did it for me. Actually he laid out the design that I picked, which is the hardest part cause I wouldn't know where to start, and I grouted it. Not bad for my first time. He's the greatest!

Stay tuned for more of my awsome adventures!

Our Pets Heads Are Falling Off....

So since we last met alot has fallen apart in my life... litterally. First, my dishwasher started leaving a wierd film on all the dishes supposedly being washed, therefore I am forced to wash everything by hand. Now to most people this might not be a big deal, but I have a hard time forcing myself to even load the freaking dishwasher! I have, however, been pretty good about keeping up on the dishes. Hopefully we figure out the problem soon because I know I won't last.

About the same time we found the dishwasher was not functioning properly we discovered that even though the air conditioner was on and set at 75 degrees our house temperature was steadily climbing up to 82 degrees. Hmm, something doesn't add up here. We soon discovered that we needded to replace our air conditioner that was now 20 years old as well as our furnace. Twenty years is a pretty good run I guess, it just wasn't verry good timing, but such as life. Growing up sucks!

On a lighter note, my sister is now engaged to a super nice guy and I couldn't be happier for her. They haven't dated for a super long time, but they both seem to be very happy and comfortable with each other. I am so excited for her to finally have found her soul mate. The big day is scheduled for september 18 at the Bountiful Temple. Better get planning....

That is all for tonight, hopefully I will have some after pictures of my kitchen in the very near future.

Life Is Good...

My name is Megan Ross. I am 27 years old, have been married to my one true love, Matt, for almost six years, and I have a beautiful daughter, Ava, who will be two in august. Also included in our family is our three dogs, Beaumont, Vegas, and Fiz Gig (Fizzy for short). We have lived in Utah for our whole lives and love it here. The weather is finally starting to get nice so we have really enjoyed spending some time outside.

Right now we have quite a bit going at our house with family weddings, babies joining our extended family, and remodeling our house and part of our yard, but I love it because it keeps me going. We just finished our basement last fall, with the exception of the bathroom( hopefully it will be done by the end of the summer) and are now getting ready to tile our kitchen floor (hopefully we will start next week). We have been working hard to fix up the yard, it's looking good so far, but we still have some work to do.
Some before pictures of the kitchen...

So with summer here and all these projects here I'm sure I should have some fun adentures to share with you all.

AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!

I didn't think this would be this hard! No worries though, my fabulous sister is coming over tonight to help me get it all put together.
